Aamina, The Awkward Turtle

I'm Aamina, hailing from the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago. I'm 24 and I love to read, watch Korean dramas and drink tea with lots of sugar.

I also write...sometimes. I wrote essays, stories and poems for competitions when I was in high school. I also wrote privately while I fantasized about becoming a famous author one day. Then I finished high school and the only work I've written for the last 4 years or so was lab reports....lots of lab reports.

I've recently obtained some new friends and their silliness and encouragement have inspired me to start back writing. Though I'm not writing the epic fantasy adventure I've always dreamt about, the hope still burns. In the meantime, I've decided to start of small and then increase the scale of my writing.
