I am a self-sustaining woman that has lived life mainly from watching and observing others in my highly dysfunctional family as NOT what to do. My outlook on life and the world we inhabit is dismal at best but thrive to be a better person daily. This is highly palpable in my writing and music. I’m shy, a bit of a recluse and highly guarded.

I read lots .... mostly women’s fiction and love debuts since it is a culmination of a writers life’s learning and ideas obtained up to the point of publishing; most second novels don’t come as easily. I also read a lot on psychology with a concentration on suicidal ideation and self-harming since I am a psychology major. My top two fictional books up to this point in my life are 1: The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt and 2: Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov respectfully.

At times I like to draw (sketch) using graphite and charcoal as my medium. I have two of my sketches in my photos section.

I play guitar; I am self taught and have been playing about 20 years. I’m not a virtuoso and I am uncomfortable playing in front of people. It’s more a personal artistic outlet since music is my greatest passion.

I am a self-professed word monger have had a passion for words for decades. I seem to have gravitated to using verbal juxtapositions and oxymorons to emphasize a point.

I find beauty in nature and surroundings; of what most of society would consider banality. One just needs to drop the electronics to be aware for it’s all around us.
