Michele Rae DeJean

I am 55 and live on a 12 acre mini-ranch in Eugene that I started buying 6 years ago. I live with two wolf dogs and have 2 twelve year old cats I got from the local shelter when they were kittens as well as five Bengal cats ranging in age from 3 to 5. My career working as an accountant for the last 30 years ended when I was laid off my job just three months after I started buying the place. I was good at my job and I enjoyed it but not long after I was laid off the hereditary disease, Charcot Marie Tooth, which I was born with that for the most part I haven't let it stop me from living a full and busy life, decided to rear its ugly head up. It effectively stopped me from being able to go back to work so I took the SSDI I had earned from working since I was 19 years old and I am putting my energy back into writing, which I have always done since I was in grade school as a hobby and designing work brochures and advertisements up until now. I have just finished one mostly fictional novel and am part way through writing a second one that is based on a real life adventure involving a con man, his robbing a bank via whilte collar crime and having to deal with the FBI when they came looking for him as well as the witness protecton program he eventually entered.
