Michael Parks

I'm a 36 yr old father of two, husband to one, living in northern California. By day I work with technology, by night I work with fiction and prose, forging the beginnings of what I hope becomes a career in writing.

Like many, I've known for years I want to be a writer. There are precious few outlets that allow you to bring to life that which lies only in the imagination. To be able to convey my vision to others - to make it happen in their vision successfully, that is my goal. When I can do that, and do it well, I will consider myself a 'good writer'. I've only just begun to be serious about the craft, but am excited at the prospects of developing my skills.

I am completely open to all criticism, no matter how well or ill delivered or intended: you won't hurt my feelings. Rather, when I see real critique given with sincere thought, I'll consider you my friend. ;) In turn, I offer the same, and only with the best intentions.
