About Me
My name is Masha Nikolaevna. I am nineteen years old, of Russian nationality, and now live in the United States. I have been writing poetry ever since I can remember. My style of poetry is more than often prose, although I have also written verse, free verse, open poetry and closed poetry. I enjoy writing, having written many speeches, essays, and short stories, though poetry is my main focus and passion. I admire works from Anton Chekhov, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Arthur Miller, Edgar Allan Poe, William Shakespeare, and Leo Tolstoy. My writing reflects experience, philosophy, and religion. From this site I'd like to take the good and the bad so I am able to critique my works and become a stronger and wiser writer and individual. I am open to conversation as well, so feel free to message me. :)
"It is a myth, not a mandate. A fable, not a logic. And symbol rather than a reason by which men are moved." - Irwin Edman
