When I read erotica, I find myself asking, "Who are these people? Why are they doing this, and what did they think about it? Was it as good as they had hoped it would be?"

So I decided to use events from my own life as the basis for a story where I could suggest some answers to these questions. Along the way, I found out that talking about it can be as good as (or better?) than doing it.

I plan to publish my story soon as an ebook, and I'm looking for feedback and suggestions before I do that. So I invite you to take a look at what I've written, and let me know what you think. And maybe we can talk about it.

My 160-page erotic confessional novella is about that moment when a person realizes that they are on the cusp of giving into long-repressed desires. It reveals how a married man comes to have his first erotic encounter involving another man - a friend from high school he hasn't seen in 24 years.

Along the way, there are ruminations about the roots of his fantasies about his friend, the catch-22 which keeps him faithful to his wife despite the temptations of beautiful women, and why the opportunity to be with this one guy after many years of anticipation finally prompts him to plunge into the pool.
