About Me

Recently retired from running a business for many years, Margy moved to the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains with her twenty-year-old cat,Patches. Frail, elderly Patches became Margy's first muse.

A member of the Cat Writers' Association and winner of a Muse Medallion, Margy divides her time between writing award-winning sonnets about her cats and playing with her five grandchildren.

Her book, Cat-House Sonnets, 100 poems celebrating cats, is loved by everyone who is honored by having cats.
