I think I've joined too many websites. I'm starting to get sick of filling out "About Me" sections.

I've been writing since I was just a wee little child. Back in elementary school, we always had to do those silly little writing projects- for some reason I always got a lot of compliments on the things I wrote. Whether it was fiction or non-fiction, others seemed to really enjoy what I did. Since I liked writing, I figured that I would try and pursue it.

I've never thought that I've been that good at writing, but I guess I am. I've been told by all my friends, family, and teachers that I'm above the level that most people my age write at. Did I mention I'm only 14 (I'm still a wee little child to many of you, I'm sure)? I'm going into High School after this summer. Anyway, I usually get A's on all my writing projects, and the best grade I've ever had in language arts was an A+. I was pretty happy.

I write in almost every genre, although many of my stories are fantasy, romance, action and realistic fiction. I usually don't write non-fiction, but I do occasionally since I've been on the school newspaper for two and a half years (middle school) and may continue in High School.

I would like to pursue writing as a career, along with something in art (I draw, too). I'm obviously not published yet, but I have started lots of manuscripts and have a ton of original stories bouncing around. I'm young still, though, so I still have plenty of time to develop everything... from my actual stories to my skills.
