About Me
Ever since I won my first Young Author's Award in the first grade (and two more after that), I've wanted to be a writer. And what do you know, I actually am. I studied literature and majored in English at Iowa State University, and after graduation, returned back to my hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana, where I began a career as a writer for a marketing company. I do freelance writing for a homeowner's magazine and write articles on a variety of topics. In June of 2008, after eight years with the company I'd worked for right out of college, I uprooted my life by accepting a position as a copywriter for an advertising company in a Chicago suburb. It's been my dream to live in a bigger city, and I'm enjoying me new life and next adventure.
While I have many unfinished pieces in my personal collection, I do hope to one day actually focus on one and finish it--a screenplay, a novel, a TV series, something. In the meantime, I keep my friends and strangers entertained with humorous blogs about my life and many adventures and mishaps.
