Loree Harrell

Author of "Body Speaking Words", the winning manuscript of Anvil Press' 1995 3-Day Novel competition. BSW was published early 1996. 400 poems, and fifty short stories are currently being organized into the collections, "Sex, Death, And Other Odds & Ends", "Reading Rocks", and "Walking In The Shattered Light".

"Tales Of The Hundred Willing: The First Sentence Stories" is a primary project in the works. I am gathering one hundred first sentences from contributors, and writing a short-short from each.

"Four Through Love's Window" is a novel in process.

My writing shares time and energy with my art. The art took over the show in 2000, when the addition of a studio to my life made the space for me to follow it. I am now working to find the balance between writing, painting, and the business end of both, and bringing both disciplines together.
