Colin Payne

Hello folks,
As Mick Jagger would say, please allow me to introduce myself...

My name is Colin Payne, I'm a full-time writer, who just happens to be employed as a Prison Officer whilst I await my literary earnings to catch up with my aspirations.
I reside in the market town of Leighton Buzzard, England, and write (rather obviously bearing in mind where we are).
I've just completed my sixth novel, which will hopefully be out come the end of September. As we do in life we improve, even at the things we may be good at, so I'm currently rewriting my first novel and only slightly cringing as I do so.

I'm loathe to use the term Independent writer, so I'll admit I'm currently self-publishing my work, so agents, publishers, etc, please feel free to visit my site, because I'm sure that is how it works!

My stories is decidedly British, but not in a Midsummer fashion, but having worked in the justice system for many a year now inspiration isn't something I struggle with.
