LO GALLUCCIO

has a BA from Harvard College in Social Studies with honors and studied acting at the Goodman School of Drama in Chicago. She�s been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes in poetry. Her first solo CD, an avant-garde pop and spoken word record on the now defunct Knitting Factory label was hailed by NY DJ Vin Scelsa as �By turns mysterious, seductive, surreal and spacy.� In 2004 her first chapbook of poems was published by Singing Bone Press, entitled �Hot Rain.� She�s read and performed at many venues in Boston and New York City, including The House of Blues, the Nuyorican, St. Mark�s Poetry Project, The Mad Poet�s Caf� and Cbgb�s Gallery as a poet and vocal artist. As a reviewer for Ibbetson St. Press she�s written about the work of many poets including Hugh Fox, Lyn Lifshin and Peter Gizzi. Her 70 page prose-poetry memoir, �Sarasota VII� was published by Cervena Barva Press in the fall of 2008.
