Hey, my name's Liv. I'm 14, and I like poetry.

My favorite poet is Emily Dickinson, although I am also very fond of many other poets as well. Just because I am young doesn't mean I can't write, but just because I write doesn't mean I'm good. Some people like my writing, some don't. If you'd take the time to read it that's all I'm asking for.

A lot of my writing has to due with substance abuse or depression. This is just because it's the type of writing I'm interested in, however I do enjoy all sorts of writing.

My poems are sometimes very easy to understand, and some of them aren't. The reason some of them may not seem like much is simply because I don't understand what I'm writing half the time, it just comes out and I write it out. Also some of my poems are very open to the way the reader likes to take them in. I like letting other people realize that there is always -someone- who can relate to them in some sort of way, therefore that's how some of my writing is.

I don't know how good I am, I might be terrible and I might be great. However I do hope that I get better with time, and anyone with constructive criticism and whoever that wants to help me or give advice is more than welcome too. :)
