Ash Lorelei

I'll try to give a description of myself without going into an existential spiral. I'm currently going to school for game design. I want to write for video games.bFor a while I wanted to write for TV, possibly make my own show. I shifted my focus to game writing for one, I'm a huge gamer, and second, there aren't enough games out there that have a good story line. I'd like to change that. I'd also like to create female leads that are badass without being overtly sexy. I know game companies don't like female leads, but there are a lot of hurl gamers who would appreciate it. Hopefully I could be part of that.
I write in the Sci-fi, horror, & fantasy genre. My writing style is inspired by Joss Wheadon & Richard Matheson. I need my characters to be, & react realistically to the quixotic events happening around them.
Where I live, there aren't any outlets for writers. I want to connect with other writers; To give & get suggestions if I'm stuck, constructive criticism, bounce ideas off of, possibly even collaborate on a project.
