About Me

Hi my name is Elizabeth but I've been called Lisa for most of my life so it kind of stuck. I had a page on this site months ago but I lost track of it so I'm starting fresh again. I'm from Georgia but I've been living in New York for over 7 years. I find this city full of inspiration for writers due to its history, and the diversity opens your mind to all levels of opinions.

I have been writing poems since I can remember and I hope to be published one day. I would love to call myself a "writer" but for now I'm only hoping. :-) My poems consist of most everything basically from love (of course) to my most darkest thoughts. I'm pretty much open minded to all kinds of writings so I would love to read everyone's work here, and I'd really appreciate your feedback on mine. Good or bad, I can handle it ;-).

Feel free to request or comment and I'll get back to you asap.

Happy writing! :-)

It is lovely indeed, it is lovely indeed.
I, I am the spirit within the earth ...
The feet of the earth are my feet ...
The legs of the earth are my legs ...
The bodily strength of the earth is my strength ...
The thoughts of the earth are my thoughts ...
The voice of the earth is my voice ...
The feather of the earth is my feather ...
All that belongs to the earth belongs to me ...
All that surrounds the earth surrounds me ...
I, I am the sacred words of the earth ...
It is lovely indeed, it is lovely indeed.
