About Me

I am a student at the University of Georgia. I am not a stickler for grammar and spelling. I have always been this way because of my dyslexic disability. My poetry lacks grammar. I can tell that those who are sticklers for grammar and spelling, my work does not appeal to them. But if you are able to look past that and perhaps input your own grammar as you read you can find that articulating your own grammar can be as rewarding as find your own interpretation of a lyric. I welcome all criticism. I have seen many things in my tender short years. Heart ache, death, journeys, and mistakes. All of my poetry expresses an event or feeling that was suppressed in me and built up an intense feeing that must be released. These poems are my release and sharing them with you is the closure.
Thank you,
Alexandria Wilson

Yes Alexandria, the name was changed to Alexandria after Alexander came along. There is a portion of my "Light of the Morning" novel posted here. It's called "The lotus Blossom Parade," and takes place in Rhakotis in 1231 BC and I'd love to have you take a look. That was before the great library or even the lighthouse were even built.

Hey, dislexia just means that you're smart. When I was in High School there was an assignment on the board to write about the Framers of the Constitution. I misread it and wrote about Farmers. The sad thing is that I got a passing grade on the report, I wish the teacher had been dislexic!

Did you know that Alexandria was called Rhakotis 3,000 years ago?
