About Me
Hello there!
My name is Amina and I am 17 years old. I've been writing ever since I was 7 years old. I love to write - and read - fantasy. Currently I'm working on a new story, and I have a number of 156 handwritten pages by now. I will try to translate it and put it up as soon as possible.
Also, let me tell you that English is not my mothertongue - even though I write a lot in English. I live in Bruges, Belgium (most of you probably have never heard of it). At home I speak Dutch. This means that there might be some grammar/spelling mistakes in my writing. Please smack them if you encounter them ^^
I like music a lot. I listen to all different kinds of music: from Rock to Film Music to Folk Metal. Music is my major source of inspiration. Music is powerful: it can make you laugh, make you cry, make you fight for something you believe in. I simply cannot write when everything around me is silent; I need music.
Writing has always been a way to express myself. My writing differs from time to time; sometimes it's cheerful and happy and light, but sometimes it's sinister and dark. As I said before, I love fantasy, and I like to use that in my writing. Very often I see a scene in front of me while I'm writing a poem or a story, and most of the time that scene is filled with evil witches, fierce dragons, little fairies, rough dwarves, golden butterflies, etc. Fantasy, I know.
I do not care for fancy clothes, make-up or popular friends. I wear the clothes I like, and my friends mean the world to me. I do not want to be popular, I want to be me.
