ABOUT ME:
I am originally from Venice Beach, California and migrated to Kansas City in 2007 and just moved back to California. I have been writing poetry and short stories for years. I have had the honor of studying under the likes of greats such as Allen Ginsberg and Tom Robbins. I am a founding member of the Write the Future (WTF)not-for-profit which hosts national poetry meetings, salons, publishes, and helps other writers network with one another. My goal is to keep the writers on their meds. My greatest accomplishment to date is breaking my leg at a poetry reading in October last year.

Ha, over 25 on the WC...no - when ppl grow up they're too serious for "networking" lol But on a relative note, I have a strictly poetry group that's 21 and over, hint hint:P

I DIG your comments! ;-) Free verse is kind of incidental to me, since I think of my poetic prose parable formula and songwriting as the main deal, but hey, it's all good, and it's good to take a cue from Valery who observed the ironies re what one takes seriously, and what others embrace. One is well-advised to roll w/it. . .;-)
