After 13 years of living in the Netherlands, I moved back to the US to rebuild my relationship with my daughter. I currently live on 5 acres of land and am enjoying life.

I was/am blessed to be the mother of 2 wonderful children, but sadly in January 2008 my youngest, my son passed away due to a heart condition that was never detected. He was only 20 years old, but he is sadly missed by his family and friends.

I have always enjoyed writing, and well poetry has never been a strong suit of mine, but it seems that the death of my son has started something I had never been comfortable with in writing. I tend to write short stories, more for children, and am trying to reconnect with my creative side after working in the helpdesk industry.
