About Me

I'm uploading old poems, and trying to write some new, so, yes, massive uploads. sorry ehheh

"What is plucked will grow again,
What is slain lives on,
What is stolen will remain
What is gone is gone...
What is sea-born dies on land,
Soft is trod upon.
What is given burns the hand -
What is gone is gone...
Here is there, and high is low;
All may be undone.
What is true, no two men know -
What is gone is gone...
Who has choices need not choose.
We must, who have none.
We can love but what we lose -
What is gone is gone." - Peter S. Beagle, The Last Unicorn

You know its really really gratifying when someone gets the little hints n allusions in my writings...and demonstrates it to me. Of course between those two plays is Salome (the english version). In the play, like in the biblical tale, Salome dances the dance of the seven veils (dancing in the photograph). In the Oscar wilde version he likens Salome to Cybele, who likes to preserve her virginity by destroying male egos... thus the librarian's ego was destroyed by her mother and he took his revenge by keeping the photograph (the book says the reason why).

It was a vague piece, no doubt. lol.

Gloomy is just magical. I loved going to the shop while it still existed in Namba. Now its just a little shack in a shopping centre (which is home to a shop called Gout Common).

I too have begun reviewing more often and communicating on here as well as posting a bit too. That crash destroyed a lot of stuff. Good to see again and i'll get reviewing, maybe tomorrow...its late right now.

Hello, thank you for your positive reviews. Stories are just spilling out of me right now and its good to hear they are hitting the right spot. Yeah the librarian was spiteful (maybe spurned love judging by the photo). Btw, i love the Gloomy Bear icon you have there. Reminds me of the big one on my wall above my TV here in Osaka.

thank you for your reveiw of Lady Meth, and to let you know, your thought that the last lines were saying to not judge me for my moment of weakness was exactly what i was trying to put across.

Bishop, thank you so much for your review of "Ashes of Roses." What you said really gave me some insight into my own work. So thank you again... :)
