About Me
Hello my name is Wesley, i am a writer and i will always be a writer its my favorite thing to do because life can be boring at times but i can create a world where i can do anything be anybody that's why i love doing what i hope i can do when i'm older
On March 22nd, 2011 I chose to become part of a very wonderful group on Writers Café called The Novelists Elite. They are my home and my family. The Novelists Elite is a group and a cause founded by an amateur novelist named Ashley Rankin who lives in Southern Utah. She founded Novelists Elite in 2011 with the hope that she could form a group where amateur Novelists young and old, serious about their work could unite in an open-hearted haven of encouragement, discussion and help. A place of meeting, interacting, and collaborating taking place with open minds. Where they can read one another’s work, develop rounded opinions about the material presented, and give each other feedback in the form of reviews. The Elite require participation from members and through constant interaction between members we build friendships and make our family stronger. We defend each other, help each other, and depend on one another for anything and everything. We recommend books to one another, we share new chapters, we understand each other. At Novelists Elite, we are looking for….
Novelists. By that name, you could be someone who has written and completed a novel. Maybe even a published novelist. You could be someone with one or many works-in-progress, looking for help to finish up and people to read what you have so far. You could even be someone who hasn’t attempted a novel yet, but want to start one and have thought you may someday. No matter what, you are a novelist in our eyes and we are ready to help.
Readers. Say you are a novelist by our definition, say you aren’t. Even if you’re one of the writers café Poets or just a passerby, if you enjoy a good read and want your ideas to become part of what could someday be a Published, completed novel: Come on in. Have a read, leave us some reviews. As just a reader, your presence will be welcomed warmly.
Note: if you are one of those “writers’ café poets”, know that poetry is not accepted as writing in the group. We only accept books, not even chapters. However: we have many, many systems in place to make sure that writer’s café poets get reviews as well even if they don’t post any books to the group. If you are an active participant of the group and we see you contributing, consider it a 100% guarantee that you will be getting all sorts of reviews. We even have features such as “Elite’s Read Requests” where you can request group members read a piece of your work, and “Elite’s Recommends” where you can recommend the work of others and have your work recommended. Elite is a great place for Novelists and Poets alike. In our group, we don’t just want Novelists to feel at home but also Readers. These are the two crowds Novelists Elite is trying to attract, and please know that if you do not fall into hopefully both categories, but if not: just the Reader category, the Novelists Elite is probably not the place for you.
The Novelists Elite is an open novelist’s society. We face each other and help each other with open minds. Open hearts, and we accept each others critiques and criticism well. We are kind in how we help each other; we are NEVER insulting of one another’s works. We, as a family, care about each other. As writers, yes, but as people we will listen to you and care about you as one of our own. Our family. And yes, even in the garden of family there are always a few weeds. We are defined, unique individuals painting a picture of a family on the canvas of Writers Cafe. We have rules, ways to make sure our Novelists are getting help and new members are becoming part of the family. We have a very defined system and you need to be ready for that if you are thinking about joining. Our group is one that requires participation.
The Novelists Elite.
Join today and become part of this group, this family, this home, and this cause. On March 22nd, 2011:
