I'm back with some new writing after a rather long hiatus due to undergoing treatment for breast cancer - still in the midst of it all, but feeling pretty good right now. I've spent a lot of my time reading great books, and longing to get back to the computer to write more of my own. Please excuse me if you write to me and I don't get back to you right away. Life is very much in flux.

As far as writing goes: I've loved writing since I learned how. I'm inspired by classic and contemporary writers of literary fiction (or anyone who tells a good story & uses beautiful language). I am working on my second novel, several short stories, and a children's fairy tale. I have a novella and story collection ready to be published.
