thank YOU! I have frequented this place on and off for six years now - I was obsessed when I first joined and then tapered off after work and my personal life eclipsed my writing time. I then went on a three year genealogy diversion but now I am back - catching up on reviews and writing again. It ebbs and flows here. Peace.
Everything's alright. I'm taking summer courses during the vacation, but it's not so bad. Slightly better than night shifts lol. People around me often mention rainbow street, and I finally got to see it yesterday. Such a lovely place. I listened to a guitar duet in a small park there, and I played a bit on the piano in Kan3aan Cafe. Then a few friends and I gathered at Old View, an antiquish-sort of cafe, but the service was slow there and after I complained to the manager, they told me the argeela was on the house, 5 JDs saved! :D. After sundown, I was needed at home, but before I found a cab, I passed by a small place that smelled good, called: Ba6a6a. And, gosh, they make like one of the best fried potatoes in Amman. If you haven't tried it you should. I hear about alot of events in 3amman, but I am not always 100% able to attend. Right now, am interested in Jabal 3amman. Do you often visit there? If you do, you should join us sometime. I'm sure it would be fun.
Hey, Kilani, : ) I haven't found the book you adviced me to read, 1984 by Orwell. I once passed by bookscafe and I found a version called, 1984 and after' but not the original. The bookshop keeper said I could pass by again in a month and they might have a new stock of the old book. How are things lately?
