Kikikins

Kikikins is a seventeen-year-old girl of Irish, Mexican, Portugese, French, English, and Yaki Indian descent. She grew up in the fabled land of Oakland, California. For those who have never heard of the abysmal place, Oakland is a large city where racial tension and violence is extremely high. In short, it sucks. After just a few too many shootings in front of her house, she and her family packed up and moved away to Livermore, California in June 2009. However, Kikikins did not want to switch schools for her senior year. So she shall resume her education at her beloved art high school in Oakland, right after she returns from a semester at The Oxbow School in Napa Valley (which she is extremely excited for, by the way).

Despite the environment she grew up in, Kikikins does not like to write about racism or violence. She prefers to escape from those things through writing, though cities similiar to Oakland pop up in her stories from time to time. Most of her stories are slightly humorous and creepy and contain elements of romance. She is a teenager, after all.
