I am 24 years old. I have been writing since I could pick up a pen. I always considered myself to have talent, but decided that taking "writing" in university wouldn't provide me with education for a promising career. I took chemistry instead, and now I work in a lab.

While I work full-time, I want to get back into writing. I have written poems for the last 10 years, and just had one published in a Canadian literary magazine so I'm happy about that! What I want to do is write a novel. I have read books to improve my form, and I think I'm ready to start, and I think I have good ideas.

I joined here for some encouragement, and to weigh my ideas against others.
