Keith Johnson

Originally an Economist and Public Policy Analyst by profession who has worked in over 25 countries during a 40-year career, I settled in Wellington, New Zealand in 1991, having lived and worked in the Philippines for the previous seven years. Nowadays I am largely a house-husband and the principal carer for 2 small sons. As I am semi-retired from policy work, I write extensively in my spare time. My blog is a a wide-ranging magazine covering popular culture, politics and the social sciences from a distinctive NZ stance - with original poetry as a bonus. The website has recorded # 1.4 million page views [end 2018] and I have # 350 poems anthologized on PoemHunter, of which over 40 have been independently reviewed by readers with an overall average score of 9.7/10.
