My passion for story-telling drove me to obtain a B.A. in Anthropology and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing, where I learned the old ways (REALLY old ways in anthropology!) of constructing stories. It was then, in the 70's, when I started my tireless study of Narratology. And I've been fortunate to write, teach, and conduct in-depth presentations about the basic patterns of story-telling for over thirty years now.

I now work on better ways of constructing stories because stories help us make sense of our lives.
