Jesse Torres II

I'm a Karate Teacher, Former Marine Officer, graduate of Univiersity of Washington with a BA in Liberal Studies, father and husband. Running a karate school for twelve years, at which I take a holistic approach to preparing students to be interesting people as well as good technicians. In addition to "creating" karate classes everyday, I have also written several Haunted House plays for Halloween, in which my teenage students are the actors. I created a scenario based competition, in which the adults spend a mud filled weekend on our beloved refuge, Planet Toyota. I have produced several short films for the various activities we do in our dojo all year long. I enjoy acting, love music, write poetry and Barbeque Haiku (my salute to man and his grill). I want to take my creative works to a wider audience. When I retire from Martial Arts I plan to make my living in the world of the arts.
