Hey, amateur writers! Good day, professional writers!
I am 16, female, South African and ambitious, INFP personality type and Capricorn. Being 16, I am prone to pretentiousness (see? Alliteration! Self-depracation!), so forgive me if I annoy you with this piece.
I have a very scatterbrained, unfocussed aproach to writing: I dabble in song-writing, graphic novels and comedy, and I tend to jump from idea to idea. This is probably counter-productive and something I need to work on. Advice would be appreciated!
I am fascinated by human nature and individual character quirks. I love developing characters, fully fleshing them out and determining their relationship dynamics, but I am not so great at plot pacing and development.

I am influenced by everything: people I know, my own hang-ups, pop culture, celebrities (I don't like admitting that one!).
I love all kinds of comedy: silly (Monty Python, Little Britain), subtle (The Office), dark (Welcome To The Dollhouse) and bizarre (Black Books, Mighty Boosh); musically I love The Velvet Underground, The Cramps, Ladytron, Goldfrapp, among others. My all time favourite movies are Welcome To The Dollhouse, World's Greatest Dad, Team America, Faster Pussycat Kill Kill!, Heavenly Creatures, Fight Club, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Pink Flamingoes, Mallrats, Dogma, American Beauty, The Apartment, How To Marry A Millionaire and Donnie Darko, to name a few (I adore movies!)

I also love to draw and paint, and I love fashion. In addition to what I've written, I'm also designing two dress-up games.

My goal is to write and star in my own comedy series, preferably with someone. HintHint.
