Jean Sidney Blomquist

Born & schooled in Seattle, Washington, I moved to San Diego, California where my husband and I both worked and raised three children. Thinking I wanted to be another Erma Bombeck and make people laughI, I began writing part time in 1970. Not certain that this was my true calling I made a pact with THE CREATOR that I would study and write for two years. If, at the end of that time I had sold a story I would take that to mean I should continue. I did sell one.

In 1990 I retired from thirty years in Medical Business Management and my new husband, Arne (a Master Teacher, unaware) and I left San Diego and fled to the magical little town of Sedona, Arizona in search of holistic/alternative modalities to treat his deadly cancer while at the same time preserving his Quality Of Life. There we met many caring Souls who introduced us to the many forms of treatments, much of it forbidden in California: Healers, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Homeopathy, Visualization, Vitamins, and an unusual way of working with Herbs.

After Arne crossed over in 1993 he returned to confirm that there IS Life after life and to teach me another important lesson. "Dance Interrupted" is the story of those years.
I later went on to co-author with Sam Joy a spiritual/historical adventure novel titled, Legend Of The Spear, written under the pen name of Jason Edwards. Both books can be viewed on my web site at www.DanceInterrupted.com.
