I have been writing since I was very young but have never submitted any of my work for publication...I want to learn everything I can before I even try.... I'm still learning. I mainly concentrate on fiction writing, short stories and novels. I also tend to write life as I see it, but who cares about that ..eh? I love writing poetry but lean heavily toward the comic side of things for some obscure reason. I have a talent for drawing, I'm a music addict, (Harry Manx, John Butler...) love India and all things Indian. I've been studying religion, mainly Eastern, for 15 years....I'm still searching in that area too. I also read anything I can get my hands on that is related to the wisdom of the Swamis and Gurus of India.

I prefer Non-fiction books but read and study novels in order to learn, I usually have three or four books on the go at once, but I always have a good book on writing by my bed and in my bag. I've studied every book I can get my hands on relating to the craft of fiction/novel, biog' and non fiction writing and have done various writing courses blah...blah...blah......
I am happy to read others writing and if you wish, and review it according to what I have learned from these books. But I am far from an expert.
I have read dozens of books on the craft and I think if you are serious about getting published you need to read as much as possible and not just expect your ability to tell a good story to get you through..
I'm happy to give honest opinions but please don't complain if I give you the truth as I see it...I'm not into bullshit. I'm happily married (25 years) and have a son age 24 who has been backpacing around the world for the last 3-4 years.
Oh yeah................I may be honest....but I'm also menopausal and rather eccentric, which is quite acceptable at 49.
