About Me
I am ME...what more is there to say! Oh alright...if you want to know more... I grew up in Beeston, Nr. Sandy, and at an early age showed an interest in everything horticultural and also enjoyed creative writing. Leaving school with I decided to pursue a career in Horticulture. My passion for poetry took me like a disease and have written sporadically ever since. I enjoy gazing at the insane world we live in and scrutinise it like some mad scientist with a microscope. I have been slightly successful and have had several poems published both sides of the Atlantic. Another passion I have is drama...strutting my stuff on the boards as they say...this has given me the insight to the world of the playwright...I am at this very moment carrying several plays that are in idea form bounce merrily around in my skull. When I can find the time I can be found curled up in a good book (though the binding can be slightly uncomfortable!), anything from fact through to fiction. I also like to collect old gardening books and have several. My passion for writing also turned my hand towards writing a weekly garden column in the Leighton Buzzard Observer. This then lead to become infamous with Gold Sony Award Winning BBC 3 Counties Radio via their gardening programs. Especially with the Gardener's Diary that was broadcast on Sunday afternoons 2-4pm in 2004-2005. For this I produced all the literature for their fact sheets on their website. So you can say that this square peg in a round hole has certainly been around and hope to for a very long time...
