About Me

My name is Tasneem Penn...and I am an Artist...a woman with intense intellectual capacity...a mere grain resting upon the bank of the beach of the world, trying to stay ashore...that I am and nothing more. I am not a perfect person, never have been...my mistakes helped mold my mentality into the one I have now. I hold them as a constant reminder of what I don't want to go back to. My focus now is spiritual growth and encouraging the betterment of Self in my peers as well as myself. My religion means a great deal to me and I do not want to put that in jeopardy again. Think what you want of me, I know what I want and need and only my Lord can give it to me.
I like watching people, discovering their personalities & individualistic traits gives me a thrill. On the other hand... I very much dislike People.
Their inconsideration for anyone but themselves and destructive ways sadden me, and make me want to seclude myself.
At times I wish I were alone & didn't have to deal with anyone.I find solace in solitude.
I have great respect for other cultures, the Asian and Mediterranean are my favorites to learn about, with Japan and Italy at the top of my list. In the beginning, I would only subject myself to poetry and photography...but recently I realized that I love art as a whole.
Any form of self-expression tickles my fancy, so to speak. And even if most methods aren't for me...I love learning about them anyway.
I don't expect any to understand my viewpoint. All that I ask is that I get the respect I deserve. Have fun in My Space and thank you for stopping by.:-)

"Somebody said that it couldn't be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That "maybe it couldn't," but he would be one
Who wouldn't say so till he tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn't be done, and he did it."
