Jacob Ives Jacob Ives Jacob Jacob Jacob Ives!

Your name has a nice singsong quality to it. :)

Thank you for your review of crucible. Honestly, I have no idea what to do about the ending. I'm keeping it in the back of my mind though, what to do...

How have you been lately?

Alia

Hah, yes, that is my page about a button. We were given quite a bit of liberty on the assignment. It was pretty random though. She gave us a list of assignments to complete over the weekend, and third or fourth on the list was "write a page about a button." No elaboration.

But yeah. It's not a very idealistic piece...or maybe it's overly idealistic. I don't know. I'm caught in an over-rationalizing funk.

Thanks for the reviews though! I have a moment now to finally get back to your masterful new post.

Oh, and. What's up with you?

Hey hey, thanks contemplating 'cosmonaut.' I changed the end around at the advising of my poetry prof., because I figure she knew what she was talking about when she said "end here" with an arrow to what is now the last line. Yep. I'm glad you like the piece. And one sec, while I go read your review on rhetorically questioning.

Hello! Thanks for the review on crescendo. It's much appreciated. I'll get back to you with one (or two or three!) sometime soon when I'm done with this week's essays and parties.

I will return.

Hey, no prob. Really like your poetry, and usually I hate poetry. I've never heard of Carrissa's Wierd but I searched them on Youtube and listened to their song "Ignorant," really sweet I favorited it.

Oh I absolutely love Beirut! The Lon Gisland EP is a masterpiece. Every second of it. Efkertlang? I've never heard of such a group. It sounds very German. I'll give 'em a listen.

And thanks for taking time away from studying to comment up psychology. The skeptic is actually inspired by Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles. There's a part where a crew member of one of the rockets runs and is found later studying the Martian 'religion,' which he explains, "takes its cue from the animals." Or something like that. He talks about the purpose of life being life itself, and this is best demonstrated by animals. I'd never even considered animals when thinking about the meaning of life previously, and their seemingly futile existance seems to cast a long shadow on our own. Do we aspire to something greater because we are sentient beings?

Okay. To the stacks of books and homework now.

How'd your test go?
