Samuel Bailey

Jack Sailey traveled in a car across the United States starting from Lilburn, GA and ending in Monterey, California. On this trip he stopped at every major city on the route. He went to bars and restaurants. He stayed at hotels and perused the surrounding establishments. He met a lot of different people on the way. Some of those people resonated with him so much that he wrote down their story from their perspective. He compiled all of the tales into one journal. While he was attempting to gain money to publish these stories a drunk driver tragically killed him. A close friend of his was going through his things and came across the journal. He had told no one of his plans to publish the work. This was a very personal endeavor and when the friend found it he knew it was his duty to finish his best friends secret wishes. Thus creating the “Tales From Jack Saileys’ Journal” series.
