About Me

About The Author:

First, thank you so very much for your interest in my work.

I come from a family of artists, actors, singers, and writers. This creative gene began to blossom in my writing as a little girl. At eleven years old I turned to a pen and a pad of paper for release of my emotions and thoughts. I had no knowledge of a term for the way I wrote. I simply wrote the way I felt as I felt it. (The term Spoken Word is new to me as of the later part of 2006.) Through the years, other than a couple of friends and family, Ive kept my writing to myself. It was within January 2006 I first brought my writing forth for others to read. It was both scary and yet empowering.

In recent years there has been a very profound spiritual re-awakening of energies within and around me. I dont mean spiritual in a religious sense. I have no basic religion I follow, but am fascinated by stories and storytellers of past centuries. This re-awakening gave way to even more interesting moments of vivid daydreaming than usual. To most these moments might be deja vu lived today, but to me they feel like a memory of a very distant past. And so my writing evolved to where we are now.

When you read my work here, it is a kind of obsolete linear regarding love. Love knows no timeline. It simply just is. Have you ever felt lonely for the other half of your soul? Or that something or someone was missing from your life, but didnt know why? The pieces you read now are words born of my heart, mind, and soul as a direct result of those very same questions. When my book "Cathartic Angels" is complete it might have some guessing as to which parts are based on reality, the ethereal realm, or what parts I've pulled from my imagination. People may think me to be a bit mad, but I find comfort in knowing that I'm in good company. No successful stroke of the quill had ever been made without taking a chance.

Thank you again.

Sincerely,

~Jennifer Holly Cole~

You are invited!
Have you ever danced with someone that you had to let go of when the music thought, never to see again, or bumped into someone on the street or the bus, that moved you, and even knowing you may never meet again, still dreamt of at night? Have you found your soul-mate? We are so looking forward to tonight, as we ask you to join us, and bring on your timeless love writings. We would love to hear some good collaborations, but we also are very much looking forward to pieces that carry with one voice! Join us for an open forum, as we encourage you to call in, and dazzle us as your voices merge together live, on the air.
