About Me

I am a 31-year-old former journalist for a daily paper here in Oklahoma and I've just had my first novel published. Although I've been published, I'm still an aspiring writer and I'll probably continue to aspire for the duration of my career. (I don't believe anyone great ever sits back and thinks, "Hey, I made it. The grass really is greener over here. I knew it.") My work is sometimes dark, dryly comedic, and, I've been told, insightful. That DOES NOT mean it's perfect and beyond reproach. I know this. That's why I'm here. I know I can learn from others.

Thanks for the comments, it's always nice to think someone's taking your writing seriously (not too seriously, of course, in some cases :P); I will review some of your work, I promise! :)

Thank you for you review of my poem "Bad Day"

I guess I would welcome you write the pessimistic version:
"Bad Couple of Years: Jeeze Enough Already?"
mI will if I get around to it, but you seem to have a bit more of a muse than I do at this time. I think it would be a fairly funny follow up answer to "Bad Day"
