About Me

It is said that a picture holds a thousand words. I do find this to be true but this statement holds little impact for me. Im not suggesting that all the artists of paint and photograph do not have a great impact on me; its the statement that seems redundant. When the word holds a thousand pictures, well, that stirs in me all the passion to write. I hope you enjoy this endeavor I place before you.

My Philosophy Concerning Written Word

Foremost in my mind is connecting to the reader. This announcement may seem obvious at a glance. As this touches the page I hear in the distance isnt that what all writers desire and yearn for? A perfect passage the foundation to build on, a thought so infectious we lose sleep until its release satisfies our need to share. All else becomes trivial annoyances put on hold. I am well enough impressed with the scholar who frantically thumbs his worn out thesaurus in search of the obscure, sending the reader into oblivion until enlightenment is realized. I praise these purists that are undaunted by ambiguity as well they should feel a cut above the common. However, does that leave the leftovers to browse tabloids to satisfy the need to appreciate the written word? Just the thought of poetry and pros to most implies wasted hours of dedication and gambling precious time on unrealized emotion. Why bother if left with uncertainty and self doubt? Can we hope to elevate awareness in a dying art if we only consider ego and impressing colleagues? Though I may be simplistic by comparison I strive to benefit all who grace my pages.

Thank you so much for the review of "An Ephiphany at the Cherry Festival." Yes, I'm starting to look back with regrets and I don't want that. Trying for refocus. It happens, right? :)

Thank you for the review of "3:33 a.m." Ironically, I'm having trouble sleeping tonight and it's approaching that very time. LOL

I promise to read Jeremy's war, but My guests arrive in five minutes. I do not dump work on my reading list, I actually do read it.
I promise not to forget you.
