Hello, my name is Iris. I'm 18, and 19 in February (:
I've been writing since i was 12..like in a diary. Mainly so i can remember parts of my life. But it taught me about description, to think about what i think, imagine, and noticing details about what I see, feel, and observe..just so i can write about it later. It wasn't until a few weeks ago I got into making my own poetry (which I post on tumblr @ohmyyiris). I've always read poetry, and rap songs. I've memorized many eminem lyrics & other artists. I've fallen in love with the way words can become beautiful art and create worlds since I was a kid. I am now interested in making my own stories. Whether they be inspiring, tragic, or just a completely fictional world. I love writing. And I plan to become greater, & have it be my focus. I hope you enjoy my work and please, i accept all criticism gracefully, as i do plan on growing.
