Young - once - and currently moving into writing more. I've done writing for years in one form or another and now look to take it further. Currently I'm working on zombie apocalypse fantasy (so beware a bit of gore) and I'm working on a series of very small short stories/articles (500 words each) that delve into the world that my current bigger project (and 83k book that I'm redrafting) is creating.

I started into the fantasy world when I was a kid, battling goblins and orks in the various RP games as many do. In D&D I tackled that damned rust monster and I fought the chaotic blob thing in Warhammer RP. I became a DM who wrote and enjoying being descriptive, allowing images and stories to play around in my head.

Although I typed one or two ideas my stories never really came to conclusion and it wasn't until Uni that I was pulled back into the creative world. For some spare time RP I joined a PBeM and became the Klingon Kaa on the space station Foothold (maybe my work is still floating around out there somewhere, I know they sometimes try to get it running again but sadly time is minimal).

I've written several short stories (about 40k words) but my latest has got me hooked back into writing. After watching much Walking Dead with my partner, it got me thinking about ideas of a fantasy world with a zombie apocalypse. Thus was born my book that I'm in the middle of redrafting. The short stories that I currently write are based in this world, in times set before my book, so you can find out about the different characters and some of the key events that lead to my book.
