Hannah Janine

In Kindergarten, I was told I was dyslexic, and I would have trouble reading for most of my life. I use to sit at the table and stare at a piece of paper trying to make out what letter it said for hours. Once my teachers realized why I was having so much trouble reading at school, they placed me in a special program where I could sit one on one with a teacher as they tried to rewire my brain so I would be able to understand the words better. I use to hate reading books, but I had always enjoyed writing my own stories, no matter how distorted the words went on the paper. Now I am above my grades reading level and am approaching my Junior year. Writing still captivates me, and I grow fonder of reading every year. Everyday is another day where I can thank God that I can read and write. I hope when you read my stories you get sucked in and begin to live the lives of the characters.
