From a young age my father sat me on his lap and read me bedtime stories about monsters.. monsters in the air flapping their wings as Raoul Duke and his lawyer Dr. Gonzo raced through the dessert in their great red shark, 'we can't stop here, this is bat country!'.
That's when I got into writing I suppose, I grew up reading a sick mix of Kerouac, Ginsberg and Thompson, it was hard not to be inspired.
I try my hand at everything, I write about anything that interests me and I usually find that if I think about it long enough, then what interests me is everything.
I tend to stick to shorts to coincide with my attention span.
I have an overactive imagination, which often causes irrational bouts of paranoia, but is also ammunition for great storytelling.
At the moment, along with writing satirical shorts about my relatively uneventful life, and observations of the world around me, I am also studying Creative and Digital Media and I am a second year journalism apprentice.
I have a dog.
I aim to bring back Gonzo journalism to the masses and one day work at Rolling Stone, fulfilling my all time dream and living out my fantasy of being 'the enemy' in my favourite film Almost Famous.
One day I will tour with Guns N Roses - watch this space/the news for updates on how that goes.
