I live in Maine, right across the street from Penobscot Bay. Maine is far too quiet for my liking, and I am hoping to get back to a place completely unlike a town of 1000 with no takeout options.
I am a graduate of the wonderfully inspiring Mount Holyoke College and the far less inspiring Harvard University.
My occupations have included English instructor, writer and editor - which is everything I wanted to be as a little girl (aside from being an elevator operator in Harlem - a wish that subsided around 6.)
I'm almost done writing my first book, a young adult/crossover novel about a 15 year old girl, a one-armed lobsterman and a unique and wonderful 16 year old boy who grapples with juvenile diabetes. Hilarity and all sort of touching stuff ensues. Hopefully, it will find its way into the world someday soon.
