Russell Drake

I'm the guitarist for Thoughts Of A Dark Mind. We're a female fronted heavy metal band (no screaming!). I write a lot of poetry and fantasy stories, the latter usually providing inspiration for songs, and thus more poetry. I've been writing all my life, but I took a long hiatus since high school because I had no real motivation to work on anything. Thanks to my friend Zoe here, though, I've found that motivation again :) Anyway, I'm an animal lover and have many different kinds ranging from a horse to a skink and everything in between. Waterfowl are my favorite, ducks especially (if you can't tell). I appreciate the little things in life, but I also think way too much. Overall though, I'm pretty easy going, so feel free to ask me to review any writing and review mine in return!
