I'm taking the name Gloria, one of my character names. I feel that she is my alter ego. . I live in small town Oklahoma. Ive been married for about ten years and I have three kids and a cat. I've been writing off and on since I was 15. I am 32 now and have yet to be published. I have a difficult time with finishing my writing projects. I have adult adhd and am currently using this to write a book about adults struggling with adhd. This is not a self help book, but a book of real life experience from myself and others about coping with everyday issues and the prejudice and stigma that comes with this kind of disorder. I also have a couple of other projects going, both Y/A fiction. I hope to finish something and begin the process of publishing within the next year, or at least have a few rejection slips under my belt. I try to read as much as I can. I've read the twilight series, although I was not impressed. I see the appeal but I felt the story-line was lacking fundamental truth of what the vampire should be. I read Bridge to Terabithia, long before the movie came to be, and it is still one of my favorites. Stephen King, Christopher Pike, and Piers Anthony are also a few that I like. My youngest son loves "Where the Sidewalk Ends", by Shel Silverstien.
I tend to be non-social, and sort of reclusive when it come to people outside my family. (Internet communities being the exception.) I currently visit the writers digest forums regularly, I just thought that I would try something different so, here I am.
