I don’t write stories. I write moments. I write moments because they are all that make a life. Moments are what give people both joy and sorrow and humanity. Moments address our deepest emotions. The tiny details in the life of a person give us the ability to relate, to empathize, to laugh with and to cry with. A moment is the larger picture within a story. And so, I write about moments.

agree. It's a bit awkward, and that may be due to not "scanning" the poem and putting it into a consistent meter. I can just hear all the old timers saying "see, I told you so..."Thanks for the review of "The Midnight Garden".

Hey! Thanks for your review, it was super encouraging. :)
As for the "Alice" versus "Mom" thing, it's a subtle inside look into Howard's psyche. It's somewhat explained in the second chapter. Little boy has complexes,haha.
Thank you, you're the only one that's said anything about the bullying scene. :) If anything seems weird or out of place/inconsistent, it's for a reason. I'll be mysterious and leave it at that. :)
