About MeAge: 16
Ahma girl. Instead of having some long discourse on my personality, I'll just throw crap out there. If you've seen/played some of the stuff, you'll get a bit of an image of me, and if you haven't, then I can't see how you found your way here anyways. Videogames: Any given Legend of Zelda game, Phoenix Wright, Final Fantasy X, Smash Bros., Baten Kaitos, Super Mario 64, Trace Memory, Pokemon Blue/Red/Yellow (okay, I don't play that anymore... but I used to, and it was fun), Civilizations III, Age of Empires II, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Mario Kart, The World Ends With You--in short, a huge variety. The only thing I don't like is shooters. Books: I like fiction and poetry, for the most part: S.E. Hinton, Madeleine L'Engle, The Secret Garden, Emily Dickison, Robert Frost, Peter Pan, C.S. Lewis, especially The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Tolkein, Wuthering Heights, Edith Pattou, Eoin Colfer, Hero (Rottman), Douglas Adams, Anne McCaffrey, Jonathan Stroud, Diana Wynne Jones, Tamora Pierce... kid's stuff, mostly. More will be added when I remember. TV Shows: Teen Titans. I get into rants about how the animated series screwed up Arella's character. That alone should give you warning on how much I like that show. X-Men: Evolution has just recently made my awesome cartoon list. So now the list is two lines long. Kudos to the makers of the show, it's very well done. Musicals: I've seen lots, but I like Wicked so much that I added a new category just to say that I like it. I do. A lot. Way more than is healthy. You know how some teenage girls obsess over Twilight and Edward Cullen? Yeah, that's me and Wicked. Elphaba and I were both a little bit psychic, we both never really knew our mom as a kid, were both teased and alienated and introverted and caustic, and we both made an awesome friend who got us to trust more in ourselves and reach out to other people instead of driving everyone away. Our lives both fell to pieces when said friend joined a group that we c/wouldn't, in good conscience. Even if, before we knew what the group was really like, joining it used to be all we ever wanted. At any rate, I was sobbing during "For Good" the first time I heard it, and the play count for "Defying Gravity" on my iPod is in the nineties. A little known fact about me: My boyfriend bought me a black hat that has the exact perfect brim for Elphaba's hat. I'm torn between destroying the hat to make the top pointy and totally like Elphaba's or just leave it as it is and wear it like a oldstyle British-old-lady cap thing. Favoritest recent moment: Bay City. The theater festival there. Best thing since Australia. |
