Born and raised in the Southern Appalachian mountains, I had the advantage of a well stocked school library. My thirst for literature grew with every turned page and finished story. A consumer of the written word, ever seeking, and ever watchful. Not long ago I developed the need to do more than consume. No more than an amateur, I recognize the skill and craft required and endeavour to acquire them.
