Writing
|
About MeI am a writer who seeks effacement through art. Ordinary, pragmatic language is the primal mask behind which our prefigured faces are hidden. In order to be free the author must free his mind of the ordinary, mundane use of language. The essential and necessary role of the artist in our present society is to play the Jester. His laughter, in the presence of the King, is art, is divine.
I laugh because I suffer so deeply. The comic absurdity of life keeps me sane. |
