About Me

I live and work in London. I am currently studying at the Open University Business School (Lectures at Regents Business School) for a BA (Hons) Business Studies with Economics.

I was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island (USA) on the 30th August 1983 at 2pm; although, I was actually due on the 15th August.

My parents are both from an Island in the Azores called Tereira. They divorced when I was very young, so I grew up around my Av (grandmother), she was amazing. I know that many of my attributes emulate hers; my family often remind me of this.

I have an older step brother called Tony and a younger sister called Priscilla. I also had a younger brother called Francisco, sadly he passed away.

The best advice that my father gave me was, "You can't build a sky scraper with a bad foundation. If you do then with time it will not be able to support the weight of the structure and it will collapse".

I got married when I was eighteen, had a daughter when I was nineteen and got divorced when I was twenty. I love my daughter - she is very beautiful; a joy and light in my life.

I believe that life is a combination and balance of a healthy mind, body and soul. All of these areas contribute to a healthy emotional state.

I've realise that spirituality plays a significant role in who I am. I have always found the paradox of religion and spirituality to intrigue and confuse me in ways that I can not even begin to describe. I know that this will always have a profound effect on my lifes purpose, especially on my decisions.

How goes it, Evete? Thought I'd stop by your page and check out some of your writings. I'll probably start the spiritual growth piece because I'm always looking to accomplish a bit of that. Take care.
